14th November, the birth date of our great leader Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, has traditionally been celebrated as Children’s Day, where we take out one day to remember how wonderful and precious our little one’s are and appreciate the joy they bring into our lives.

At MySchool, there was much excitement in the air on Children’s Day. The day was a day to play and party for the children. All dressed up in pretty party clothes, our children arrived at school to find their teachers dressed as fairy tale characters, princes and princesses alike.

The teachers entertained the children with an enactment of the story of Goldilocks, which the children loved. After this, there were refreshments, where we served the children’s favourite snacks and drinks. Then came the best part of the day, as we turned up the music volume and let the children dance their hearts out.

Finally, as the time to leave approached, each child was presented was a special gift, a token for being as adorable as they are. Indeed, it was a day they will not stop talking about for a long time!
