MySchool, a pioneering new educational institution in Lucknow that caters to preschoolers, opened its gates to the public on the 26th of March, 2017, in a grand event called MyCarnival.
The event was a huge success, with a massive turnout of parents, children and their friends and relatives, all interested in taking a look at what this new preschool has to offer. The event was inaugurated by our Chief Guest, the hon. Deputy Chief Minister of U.P., Sh. Dinesh Sharma, and continued from 11 am to 6 pm, featuring activities for all age groups.
Children were engaged in puppet shows, clay pottery, dance, hoopla and many other treats put in place especially for them. The parents strolled around the premises and took in the facilities, such as the music and dance studios, the ball pool, the kitchen garden, the bank mock up and the interactive puzzle walls.
Mrs. Mishra, one of the parents, remarked that every corner of the premises seemed to have something to help her daughter learn and have fun. The parents also interacted with teachers to find out about the teaching methodologies and philosophy of MySchool. They were informed about the importance of early childhood education by experts and a healthy exchange of ideas, anecdotes and questions took place. One young lady spoke of how quickly she herself had picked up knitting at the age of only three from her grandmother. The teachers also shared extensive information with the parents about MySchool – that it is the first preschool in Lucknow by the Sri Ram Group, that it conducts four separate early education curriculums for students of different age brackets, and that it gives overarching importance to the children’s safety. This was demonstrated by the CCTV cameras, GPS tracking and one teacher for every ten students.
The upshot of all this was extremely positive and encouraging. Enrollment rates at the school skyrocketed as parents understood the benefits the preschool had to offer their child and registered their little toddlers on the spot.
Parents who were interested but still a little uncertain were told about My Summer Flight, a three-week summer camp organized by MySchool, soon to be held on the MySchool premises. They were given the option of registering their child for the camp and if they saw a positive change in him or her they could further that association by taking admission in MySchool.
MyCarnival was, in the true spirit of MySchool, a day full of fun and learning, not just for the parents but also for their children. With this grand launch, MySchool promises to honour their word to the parents and turn their children into little geniuses!
